Members and Directors Directors Mr. Jack O’Sullivan - Chairman Jack is a former member and past Chairman of Presentation College, Mardyke. and is a director of O’Leary Insurance Group. Mr. Denis Bohane Denis is former President of INTO and recently retired from teaching in Scoil Spioraid Naoimh, Bishopstown. Mr. Anthony Kenneally Anthony has been a member of the Board of Management of Scoil Chríost Rí and is a member of the teaching staff of Scoil Iosaef Naofa in Cobh. Mr. Colm O’Corcora Colm is Deputy Principal of Sacred Heart Secondary School, Carrignavar, Cork Mrs. Triona Brennan Triona is a member of the teaching staff of Presentation Secondary School, Bandon, Co. Cork. Mr. Tim O’Connell Tim is a former Chairman of Presentation College, Mardyke and recently retired from the Department of Education & Science. He is a part-time lecturer in U.C.C. Members Mrs. Laura Cuddihy Laura is a former member of the Board of Management Bray and is a lecturer in Marketing at Dublin Institute of Technology. Mrs. Ita Groarke Ita is a former member of the Board of Management Scoil Chríost Rí and is a practicing barrister in Cork. Mr. Gene Murphy Gene has been Chairman of Presentation College Bray for the past six years and is a practicing solicitor in Bray. Professor Fergal O’Gara Fergal is Professor of Microbiology at UCC. Mr. Brian Crowley Brian is MEP for Munster and has had long association with the Brothers over the years.
Chief Executive Officer Paul Scanlan Paul is the Chief Executive Officer of PBST and is former Director of the Education Office of the Presentation Brothers. He is a graduate of UCD with a BA in Mathematics and Psychology. He has served as Principal of CBS, Templemore; CBS, Synge Street, St. Anne’s, Miltown, Dublin and Presentation College, Bray. He is a Director of the Sacred Heart Schools Network Limited, Member of the Board of the Association of Trusts of Catholic Schools and a Member of the Council of the Catholic Schools Partnership. The Office of the CEO is the agency through which the Presentation Brothers Schools Trust develops and manages the school communities in their trust as they continue to provide the Presentation tradition of Edmund Rice education MISSION STATEMENT The Office of the CEO is committed to enabling our school communities promote catholic education that is inclusive and just. AIMS: To assist school Principals and Deputy Principals in exercising positive leadership To appoint, train and support Boards of Management To provide induction for new teachers in the schools To develop a network among our schools To foster links with other educational bodies To ensure that all relevant legislation pertaining to schools is observed To promote good financial practices in all schools To attend to all property issues relating to schools To initiating and promoting projects such as Peace & Justice Groups in all schools To provide advice to Boards and Principals on issues arising in schools To promote an Immersion Programme in Developing World
